Class I to V normally children are to follow normal educational curriculum with almost all the co-curricular subjects and activities. With proper lesson plans teachers teaches different subjects aiming to develop self confidence, logical thinking, reasoning etc. Elementary school usually runs from kindergarten through either grade 5 or grade 6, depending on the region. Upon successful completion of their elementary education students then proceed to middle school also known as junior high school.
Primary education consists of an eight year cycle: junior infants, senior infants, and first to sixth classes. The primary curriculum aims to provide a broad learning experience and encourages a rich variety of approaches to teaching and learning that cater for the different needs of individual children.
The main aims of the Programme are developing skills related to writing, reading, reflecting, critical thinking, public speaking, fostering initiative among students and a desire to acquire knowledge.
